New Content Item (1)Congratulations! The Editor-in-Chief of Brain Informatics (BRAI) journal, Prof. Ning Zhong was elected as a Foreign Fellow of the Engineering Academy of Japan (EAJ) on 8 February 2022.

Prof. Zhong has made outstanding contributions in “Web Intelligence (WI) meets Brain Informatics (BI)” research and development. Prof. Zhong is founder and the Editor-in-Chief of Brain Informatics journal (Springer Nature), the Editor-in-Chief of Brain Informatics & Health (BIH) book series (Springer Nature), the co-founder and co-chair of Web Intelligence Consortium (WIC), co-founder and steering committee co-chair of IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Web Intelligence (WI), and co-founder and steering committee co-chair of International Conference on Brain Informatics (BI).

The Engineering Academy of Japan (EAJ, https://www.eaj.or.jp), founded in 1987, is composed of leading experts from academia, industry, and government institutions who possess a wide range of knowledge and have made outstanding contributions in engineering and technological sciences, and closely related fields. EAJ joined the International Council of Academies of Engineering and Technological Sciences (CAETS) in 1990 and has important academic influence in the world.
